Melody

We are currently 'in transit', so I say. Lyndon has moved to Abu Dhabi and Monet and I are currently staying at my parents in country Victoria. So, (lucky me) I got to have a 'break' from Little Miss and I spent the weekend in Melbourne with some friends. Had a wonderful time eating, drinking and shopping....

Mamacita

We went to a production at our local Little Theatre today.

Marisa

Helping 20 kids to put on helmets as they went for pony/horse rides. It was great, but even better was watching them devour a humumgus chocolate cake slab..Great photos were taken and of course my daughter wanted to take a horse home....

kenju

This was a stay-at-home, do nothing weekend for us.

I can't decide between the spoken word open mic, which set records for attendance and readers, or the woman's salon dialogue I went to the next day. It was a full and rich weekend!

anne

Well, it was my birthday so I can't decide between the concert with my daughter and the special dinner out with my Husband.... And I'm sure I'll have fun too when I go to Cirque du Soeil tomorrow with my son!

Janet

Michele, that sounds like SO much fun!!!

Happy birthday to Anne! Let's see...the most fun I had was breakfast with a friend Saturday morning :-)

michelle

played tackle football, soccer, and tennis with my boys.

Shannon H.

Playing the new content in World of Warcraft, taking care of The Man (sick men are not happy men).

Diana

watching the Bears/Packers football game. 37-3... Green Bay won !!!!

Jennie

Throwing a soccer party for the end of my son's season and chatting long with the moms around my kitchen table.

anniebird

We bundled up all the little ones and took a two hour walk in the quiet winter-ready woods near our house. Many fallen trees were climbed and conquered and we all came home feeling refreshed and happy to have pink cheeks!

david

solo kayaking on the lake
(so much fun I hurt in the shoulders)

usedtobeme

Shopping for birthday presents. My youngest turned 9 yesterday. I'm sooooo not ready!

mckay

i'm exhausted from the OC fires that surrounded my neighborhood, but my son kept me in stitches telling me silly jokes.

Sara

Playing Apples to Apples with some friends.

Thumper

I got a free refill on my iced tea while at the Border's bookstore coffee shop. Yep, I lead an exciting life...

Pearl

Opening the oven to find it full of smoke. Lesson? The drink crystals I sprinkled on top of the cake was a less than great idea. Although flambe was exciting I tell you. So I opened the window to get rid of the smoke and went back to work to promptly screen out everything else but breaking the 55,000 word barrier, until hubby came home laughing, asking me why it was like a freezer in here?

Ah, the fun of misadventures.

Bev

I reviewed two shows ("Man of La Mancha" and a dance recital), and attended the open house of a friend who had just finished a major remodel of a new house.

This weekend was pretty tame. I drove really close to the Chino Hills fire in California while driving my brother-in-law to work. It wasn't fun, just exciting and memorable. I'm not glad. I feel terrible for the people who have lost it all but when I think of that weekend, I can't help but remember the giant tower of flames.

barbie2be

walking the farmers market with a friend.
