Janet is one of the most smile-inducing bloggers I know. One of her favourite questions has been borrowed for the title of this post.
My Answer: A dear friend of mine agreed to allow me to take her two young daughters to the Toronto Santa Claus Parade. We marveled at the wonder of the floats, we laughed when a clown walked be, we clapped our hands to the beat of the various marching bands, we shared a thermos of Magical Elf Cocoa and we were overwhelmed with delight when Santa finally made his appearance. Yes, very much fun was had.
Your turn. What was the most fun you had this weekend?
We are currently 'in transit', so I say. Lyndon has moved to Abu Dhabi and Monet and I are currently staying at my parents in country Victoria. So, (lucky me) I got to have a 'break' from Little Miss and I spent the weekend in Melbourne with some friends. Had a wonderful time eating, drinking and shopping....

Helping 20 kids to put on helmets as they went for pony/horse rides. It was great, but even better was watching them devour a humumgus chocolate cake slab..Great photos were taken and of course my daughter wanted to take a horse home....

I can't decide between the spoken word open mic, which set records for attendance and readers, or the woman's salon dialogue I went to the next day. It was a full and rich weekend!

Well, it was my birthday so I can't decide between the concert with my daughter and the special dinner out with my Husband.... And I'm sure I'll have fun too when I go to Cirque du Soeil tomorrow with my son!

We bundled up all the little ones and took a two hour walk in the quiet winter-ready woods near our house. Many fallen trees were climbed and conquered and we all came home feeling refreshed and happy to have pink cheeks!

Opening the oven to find it full of smoke. Lesson? The drink crystals I sprinkled on top of the cake was a less than great idea. Although flambe was exciting I tell you. So I opened the window to get rid of the smoke and went back to work to promptly screen out everything else but breaking the 55,000 word barrier, until hubby came home laughing, asking me why it was like a freezer in here?
Ah, the fun of misadventures.

I reviewed two shows ("Man of La Mancha" and a dance recital), and attended the open house of a friend who had just finished a major remodel of a new house.

This weekend was pretty tame. I drove really close to the Chino Hills fire in California while driving my brother-in-law to work. It wasn't fun, just exciting and memorable. I'm not glad. I feel terrible for the people who have lost it all but when I think of that weekend, I can't help but remember the giant tower of flames.
