...there's no crying, and we all know how much those guys want to break down and embrace their inner little girls. Oh yeah. We know it.
Posted by: Thumper | April 23, 2008 at 01:47 AM
if the game is not on a Saturday afternoon, then it is no good for a decent nap.

the parents of little leaguers
Posted by: James | April 23, 2008 at 07:04 AM
....I don't understand the game at all.
Posted by: Jo-less | April 23, 2008 at 07:42 AM
an 11 year old pitcher ran into his catcher the other night, banging heads, and his tooth was loosened and then after sitting on the field 15 min. he got back up and continued pitching because once you're off the mound you can't be put back in and he's a good pitcher, but next day it turns out he also had a broken nose and a concussion.
Oh sorry, my mistake. That's the problem with pathologically competitive Little League baseball coaches.

the older fatter guys should not be wearing pants that tight fitting....
Posted by: Marisa | April 23, 2008 at 08:29 AM

Posted by: Keith | April 23, 2008 at 08:53 AM
it's not as much fun as it was when I was younger.
Posted by: Janet | April 23, 2008 at 10:07 AM
the salaries of the players does not equate to their own personal committment and efforts to see to it that it's a game played with solid determination, lasting perseverence, and utmost integrity.
That, and $10 for one beer
Posted by: Fluke Starbucker | April 23, 2008 at 10:17 AM
it is boring.
Posted by: Sara | April 23, 2008 at 12:41 PM
it's like watching paint dry.
Posted by: barbie2be | April 23, 2008 at 01:39 PM

Posted by: rosemary | April 23, 2008 at 03:20 PM
Yes, Rosemary, it's waaayyy too expensive to see a game. Or have season tickets. Or Eat at the field. Or Drink. Or park close by the coliseum. Or...
Posted by: Wonelle | April 23, 2008 at 04:03 PM
it's boring.
Posted by: kenju | April 23, 2008 at 04:13 PM

...it gets in the way of hockey playoffs!
Posted by: monique | April 24, 2008 at 10:19 AM
...its length is not in the proper proportion to its interestingness. Though it does have a certain degree of charm all the same.
Posted by: rampant bicycle | April 24, 2008 at 01:31 PM

(I know, really gay answer! Sue me!) :)
Posted by: Shephard | April 24, 2008 at 05:55 PM
the players are always spitting and touching their privates.
Posted by: Scarlet | April 24, 2008 at 09:39 PM
...it's a game grown men make millions of dollars just for playing. That's not UNIQUE to baseball, but that's the trouble withit as far as I'm concerned.
Posted by: Roland | April 24, 2008 at 11:30 PM
...it is a napping sport & it's not always on just Saturday afternoons, which is the perfect time for baseball napping!
Posted by: flleenie | April 25, 2008 at 02:45 AM
It's really... really boring!
Posted by: Sol | April 25, 2008 at 10:06 AM
it's boring, unless you're watching it live, and then, it's still sometimes boring.
Posted by: leslie | April 25, 2008 at 11:55 AM
that it is no trouble at all.
I LOVE the game..........it's in my blood, and it courses through my veins.
The only trouble I guess is that I live here and the Jays play way over there!
Tomorrow, my son begins his season! I'd MUCH rather be a mom at the ballpark that one sitting on the sidelines of a soccer pitch. Now that's boring. :)

Michele, my dear....I hope you are alright. I may have missed the explaimation as to why the M&G isn't here...BUT, in case there wasn't any...I DO hope ALL IS WELL, my dear.
Our weekend game is so important to so very many...And I guess I hope you know that, my dear Michele. But MOST OF ALL...YOU ARE IMPORTANT to everyone who comes here...So, when you are not here, nothing feels right or seems right. I dearly hope YOU are better than 'okay', dear Michele.....
Just know this: YOU ARE SO MISSED!
HUGS, to you...And Great Good Health!

I agree with OOLOTH above. Hope you are all right, Michele. You have so many friends here. I'll visit OOLOTH and keep the M&G spirit going.
