The Daily Question From A Blogfriend

This question was asked in the Answer and Ask Comment Game

Last Girl on Earth wants to know...

If you could travel to any place in the world, and be there in five minutes, and spend one day, where would you go?

Caption Contest Number 146

Yes. Another caption contest. You know the rules, yes? You think of a caption for the picture in the extended  post and submit it in the comment section. We at All Things Michele will once again select the best ones (every single one) and award each one (every single one) with an imaginary trophy for their imaginary caption-contest-winner cabinet.

Two Words, One Sentence

Oh, what a lovely word you have. Oh my, you have two lovely words. Which two words? Well, the decision is yours of course.

The object of this game is to take any two words and and use them in a sentence.  However, you will not create a sentence from your words. Instead you will create a sentence usinf the two words that the person who commented above you offered. Then, and only then, do you leave two words for the next person.

Sound fun? Of course it does. If it does not sound fun then you are not imagining fun words.
Please note that the words can be separated within the sentence but both words must be used in the same sentence.

Words for the first person playing:

caramelizing  cowboy

One Degree of Seperation

It's an every-other week thing....

One Degree of Separation

How to Play:

The first person, oh that would be me, chooses an actor (and for the sake of this game actor also means actress). Do not even think about waving your ender specific finger at me.

  • Okay, actor is chosen, now the next person must choose a film that has that actor in it.
  • The following person chooses a different actor that was in the same film.
  • Next person chooses another actor from the above film,

So, actor, movie, actor, movie, actor....

Understood? Good. Okay. Lights, Camera, Comment.

First actor: Forest Whitaker

The "Hello, Michele Sent Me" Meet 'N' Greet

Offering both good and bad news.  This is a special one day only Meet  n' Greet and  I'll be  back tomorrow with my regular postings.  Of course, you get  to decide which option is the good news.

Thank you to the wonderful people who play multiple times, each of you are guilty of spreading lots of comment cheer - hugs from me.

Spread the Comment Cheer.

The site of the day: the person above you and then you.

How to play:

  •   Leave a comment here that says hello.
  •   Now, go visit the person who commented above you, leave a comment on their site that includes  the oft-repeated tag-line: Hello, Michele sent me.

Please play along.

Note to the first person commenting: simply say hello to me.

And YES, of course you are invited to play often. As you already know, I encourage that sort of thing.

The Comment Game

Please Note: Instructions for The Daily Comment Game can be found here.

New Site of the Day:  CourtneyRyan
Please go say hello to CourtneyRyan369. She is warm, witty and intriguing. Her blog is at once interesting and very fun.  So, please do go say hello to her. Thank-you.

Two Ways To Play

The Classic Version: Simply visit the site of the day and please do not forget to say Hello, Michele sent me.

The New-Fangled Version: Leave a comment here and then visit  the site of the day AND the person who commented above you. The person who comments after you will visit  the site of the day and you. Again, do not forget to say Hello, Michele sent me. Yes, I will pout if my tag-line is not used.

Please do not  comment here more than once per day. Multiples are reserved for The Weekend Meet N' Greet. Yes, it is my way of keeping you wanting more.

The Monday Three Things

Three random things I did this past weekend:

  • Went for my first bike ride  of the season. Why didn't someone  tell me  how scary big upward hills would be when riding a one speed  bicycle?
  • Left my home  at 2.30AM in the  morning, so that I could  go shuttle my mother and her two friends home after they enjoyed an evening of  drinking at a downtown club. Why didn't someone  tell my teenage self that my mother would  indeed  find  a way to pay be back for the many times I called her at post-curfew hours?
  • Discovered that real life  can offer fairy-tale moments  of wonder. Why didn't someone tell me that  the stroke  of midnight is not always when the coach becomes a pumpkin, but, instead, can be when an unspoken dream is given voice.

Your turn. Name three random things  you did  this past weekend.

A Repeat of My Favourite Monday Question

This question was asked in the Answer and Ask Comment Game

Janet wants to know...

What was the most fun you had this past weekend?

Another Question From A Blogfriend

This question was not asked  in the Answer and Ask Comment Game

Michele wants to know...

If you could  modify your computer  in any single way, how  would you make it different?

The Answer and Ask Comment Game

It is time to socialise and make small talk.......

How shall we do this?

Let me explain:

The person before you has asked you a question. Now being a pleasant guest you shall answer. See, small talk! Now, you will want to welcome the next guest by asking a question of them.

It really is as simple as answer and ask. Please remember you are a pleasant guest and this is only small talk, albeit of the amusing kind. Some possible questions mght be:

  • What book are you reading?
  • Where did you get that lovely ensemble?
  • Do you think Brad Pitt is over-rated?
  • Who was your favourite Bond, James Bond?

Please, keep it non-personal and ask fun questions. And  yes you can come back to mix and mingle, in fact I encourage it.

Question for first person:

If you could  own a single prop from any movie ever made, what would  you choose?

The Word Association Comment Game

Simply post the first word that comes to mind when you read the word in the comment above yours.  The next person will write the word that first comes to mind when they read your word. Sound easy? Oh, of course it does.
