The Pretend Word Comment Game

As is our custom here at All Things Michele we have decided to post yet another silly comment game.

The Return of the Pretend Word Comment Game.

Rules of Play:

The person above you will offer a word that they just made  up. You must supply a definition and/or use the word in a sentence. Then you must make-up a word for the next person.

Sound misilly? Of course it does!

First Word:

sparkculate

The ABC's of Good Music

It is that magical time of the month. That time when all the letters of the alphabet get to be placed in a pretty row for one of my comment games. Yes, I will pause while you clap your hands in glee. Okay, stop clapping. Now,what is this month's alphabet theme? Good music, or more precisely singers, groups, or composers, and  of course you define what good is.

So, in the spirit of alphabet games may I suggest that we create a list of good music, put in alphabetical order of course.

Now begin with the letter A, the next person does B and so on.....

Yes, you can return to play again, after all, there are plenty of good music.

The Monday Three Things

Three random things I did this past weekend:

  • Spent the better part of three days sleeping. If  this was a time for luxurious renewal or much needed beauty sleep, it would have been most welcome. However, it was a flu-provoked sleep and therefore was silently cursed.
  • Tried to sweet talk my thermometer into displaying a number below 100. Apparently it is immune  to my charms, as was every other person who stayed far away from me this weekend.
  • Briefly considered the fact that refusing a flu-shot  might not have been the wisest choice I made in recent months.

Your turn. Name three random things  you did  this past weekend.

The Daily Question From A Blogfriend

This question was asked  in the Answer and Ask Comment Game

Mamacita wants  to know...

Has a book ever changed your life?  If so, which one?

The Answer and Ask Comment Game

It is time to socialise and make small talk.......

How shall we do this?

Let me explain:

The person before you has asked you a question. Now being a pleasant guest you shall answer. See, small talk! Now, you will want to welcome the next guest by asking a question of them.

It really is as simple as answer and ask. Please remember you are a pleasant guest and this is only small talk, albeit of the amusing kind. Some possible questions mght be:

  • What book are you reading?
  • Where did you get that lovely ensemble?
  • Do you think Brad Pitt is over-rated?
  • Who was your favourite Bond, James Bond?

Please, keep it non-personal and ask fun questions. And  yes you can come back to mix and mingle, in fact I encourage it.

Question for first person:

What is  your biggest addiction?

The Word Association Comment Game

Simply post the first word that comes to mind when you read the word in the comment above yours.  The next person will write the word that first comes to mind when they read your word. Sound easy? Oh, of course it does.

The "Hello, Michele Sent Me" Meet 'N' Greet

Thank you to the wonderful people who play multiple times, each of you are guilty of spreading lots of comment cheer - hugs from me.

Spread the Comment Cheer.

The site of the day: the person above you and then you.

How to play:

  •   Leave a comment here that says hello.
  •   Now, go visit the person who commented above you, leave a comment on their site that includes  the oft-repeated tag-line: Hello, Michele sent me.

Please play along.

Note to the first person commenting: simply say hello to me.

And YES, of course you are invited to play often. As you already know, I encourage that sort of thing. However,  please allow at least five people to play (or at least thirty minutes to pass) before you comment again.

Another Last Time Test

Well, it is not actually the last memory test considering the fact that I will offer a similar test in the future. Yes, I do know how to repeat posts. This should not surprise you. So, let us call it a memory test on a list of last items.
Tell us these last things:

  1. When is the last time you went to the theatre?
  2. When is the last time you were caught with your hand in the cookie jar?
  3. When is the last time you complimented a stranger?
  4. When is the last time you wished you had more  ironing to do?
  5. When is the last time you spoke  in your  outside voice?
  6. When is the last time that someone made you blush?

Well, go on, answer now, you do not wish to be the last person on the last things memory test. Do you?

The Daily Question From A Blogfriend

This question was asked in the Answer and Ask Comment Game.

Mr. Althouse wants to know.....

Who were you named after?

Caption Contest Number 141

Yes. Another caption contest. You know the rules, yes? You think of a caption for the picture in the extended  post and submit it in the comment section. We at All Things Michele will once again select the best ones (every single one) and award each one (every single one) with an imaginary trophy for their imaginary caption-contest-winner cabinet.

The I Spy Comment Game

According to some people I make up silly games. Keep this in mind as I suggest the following:

The person above you has the magic ability to look through your computer monitor and see you and your surroundings. Don't be frightened they are just here for the game and they will leave in a moment. Just before they disappear they play the I Spy Game. Yes, you know which game I am talking about, the anti-boredom road-trip game that requires you to guess what the other person has spied based on a one word clue.

So, tell us what your thru-the-monitor visitor might have spied based on their clue. Also do not forget that after you have answered the person above you it is your turn to look through the monitor of the next person and tell them what you spied. Sound fun?  Of course it does. If it does not sound fun then I spy a party-pooper.

Now let me begin  by looking through the monitor of the first person:

I spy with my little eye something that is blooming.
