The "Hello, Michele Sent Me" Meet 'N' Greet

Thank you to the wonderful people who play multiple times, each of you are guilty of spreading lots of comment cheer - hugs from me.

Spread the Comment Cheer.

The site of the day: the person above you and then you.

How to play:

  •   Leave a comment here that says hello.
  •   Now, go visit the person who commented above you, leave a comment on their site that includes  the oft-repeated tag-line: Hello, Michele sent me.

Please play along.

Note to the first person commenting: simply say hello to me.

And YES, of course you are invited to play often. As you already know, I encourage that sort of thing. However,  please allow at least five people to play (or at least thirty minutes to pass) before you comment again.

Other Than few people, and maybe no one, will find their children as enchanting as they do.

The Return of the Magic 8 Ball

There are certain moments when you must return to the sage wisdom of the Magic 8 Ball for the answer to your most pressing concern, and so I did that on your behalf.

Really, it was not a problem and there is no need to thank me.

The Magic 8 Ball Answer: you may rely on it!
Please remind me: what was your question?

The Daily Question From A Blogfriend

This question was asked in the Answer and Ask Comment Game.

Jennie wants  to know....

What's the best thing that happened to you in high school?

Caption Contest Number 138

Yes. Another caption contest. You know the rules, yes? You think of a caption for the picture in the extended  post and submit it in the comment section. We at All Things Michele will once again select the best ones (every single one) and award each one (every single one) with an imaginary trophy for their imaginary caption-contest-winner cabinet.

The Next Letter Beverage Game

Evidence suggests that there are twenty-six letters in the alphabet and more than twenty-six beverages in the average "drink this" vocabulary. This entire evidence thing boggles the mind, doesn’t it? Well, at least it boggles the mind after three martinis

Let us boggle it some more by playing the alphabet beverage game.

Rules of Play.

Let us pretend that you have been invited over to my home for a short visit. Yes, it is only a short visit, unless there is a reciprocal visit offered. Now, because I am the perfect hostess, yes I am dammit, we are still pretending. So, as the perfect hostess I ask you if I can get you a beverage. Now the fun part of the beverage offering game is that you can only have a beverage that is in proper alphabetical order.

So, the first person here gets the A beverage the next gets the B and so on...

Do not go out of order or I will use my perfect hostess skills to send you home thirsty. Simply read the comment above yours to find out what letter your beverage is.

Now, what beverage can I get the first person?

One Degree of Seperation

It's an every-other Wednesday thing....

One Degree of Separation

How to Play:

The first person, oh that would be me, chooses an actor (and for the sake of this game actor also means actress). Do not even think about waving your ender specific finger at me.

  • Okay, actor is chosen, now the next person must choose a film that has that actor in it.
  • The following person chooses a different actor that was in the same film.
  • Next person chooses another actor from the above film,

So, actor, movie, actor, movie, actor....

Understood? Good. Okay. Lights, Camera, Comment.

First actor: Michelle Pfeiffer

A Simple Little Wish

Several weeks ago  I hinted that I might  share one  of  my guilty pleasures. Well, come closer, no even closer than that.  Are you ready?  I  like politics.  Really, I do. I like the politicians that are  my clients. I like political news, commentary and debates. I even enjoy watching Question Period, well, for professional and  theatrical reasons, of course. For me, it is, in part, the unknown that makes politics so exciting.

Of course, it is Canadian politics that get the bulk of  my attention.
However, I am also interested in the political news of other countries. Really, I am.

This interest prompts the following confession: I want  to vote in the  United States presidential election. I want  to vote, I really really really want to vote. Yet, despite a triple really, I am not allowed to vote. Apparently my neighbours to the south have this little rule  about only allowing their own citizens to vote. *Deep sigh of frustration* Well, fine be that way. I have a back-up plan: I simply need  to become an American, or rather have dual citizenship, before the first Tuesday in November.

Any suggestion? I am accepting  proposals.

The Monday Three Things

Three random things I did this past weekend:

  • Went to the birthday party for a friend who turned eighty-three. According to the birthday girl, the older you get, the more you appreciate good wine,  younger  men and shiny trinkets.
  • Hosted my annual Oscar Party. Yes, there were debates about what movie was most deserving, what actors were overlooked and most importantly - why this  is  just another excuse for my small circle of friends to drink good wine and discuss younger men.
  • Invited a friend's daughter over  for a Sunday afternoon of playing  Pretty Pretty Princess. Apparently shiny trinkets are something that also appeals to a four year old.

Your turn. Name three random things  you did  this past weekend.

Welcome.....
