How to play:

  •   Leave a comment here that says hello.
  •   Now, go visit the person who commented above you, leave a comment on their site that includes  the oft-repeated tag-line: Hello, Michele sent me.

Please play along.

Note to the first person commenting: simply say hello to me.

And YES, of course you are invited to play often. As you already know, I encourage that sort of thing. However,  please allow at least five people to play (or at least thirty minutes to pass) before you comment again.

Anger Deosn't Live Here, But She Does Like to Visit...

There once was a woman who rarely got upset. One winter, early in the new year, this  woman  was overcome with sudden anger.  Her raves became rants and her temper flared.  Random outbursts surprised her friends and caused concern for those who loved her. For three days this woman entertained an emotion that is rarely welcomed.

Surely someone did something to cause this sudden fury, one  might think?
Yet, that thought would  be wasted. There is no other someone to be blamed for this woman's anger. She  simply woke  up one  morning and decided to no longer ignore the fact that anger had decided to pay a house call, and brought a black cloud  of moodiness as a hostess gift. She decided that although she did not wish to  embrace this anger, she could  at least  share her space with it for a few days.

This decision was wise, because each passing  hour her fury has unravelled just a little. She knows that it is okay to be mad. She is also willing to accept the fact that this too shall pass.

In fact, it has  indeed almost passed. Anger is becoming an unwelcome house guest. Which is  good  because she eats too much and never picks up after herself.

The woman will return to regular posting soon.  Very soon. The  angry house guest - well, she  is looking for a new place to visit. Please let me know if  you ever wish me  to send her to your  home.

Yes, Yet Another One of Those Posts.

You know what was here, don't  you? Of course you do. But now it is not here. You know  it will return, don't you? Of course you do.

Now shoo....there is  nothing new here. You know  that is said  with much fondness, don't  you? Of course you do.

The All About You Test

Please read the instructions carefully! You are about to take another weekly All About You Test.

The Instructions:

Take your time for the test and try to answer as many questions as possible. You are going to be asked 5 questions. Please look at a clock and time how long it takes you. You should not need loner than 30 minutes. If you need longer, please consider learning more about yourself.

After you completed the 5 questions, you have finished the test and you may leave the comment section testing area. But please remember: these on-line "all about you" tests can never be as accurate as tests supervised by trained professionals.

We from All-things-Michele hope you have fun with the test.

Good Luck and best wishes!

  1. Have you, so far, kept your New Year's resolutions?
  2. When is the  last time  you agreed to be someone's ride to or from the airport?
  3. Shopping  math: if  something is  on sale for 50% off, does that mean you save money or you get to purchase two items for the same  money?
  4. Do you have any laugh lines and are  you currently working on creating more?
  5. Have you ever refused a glass of wine, and if so, why
  6. Is Miss Piggy a great Muppet, or the greatest Muppet?

The Weekly Question From A Blogfriend

This question was  not asked  in the Answer and Ask Comment Game

Michele wants  to know....

Where were you at midnight, when it became 2008?

Caption Contest Number 132

Yes. Another caption contest. You know the rules, yes? You think of a caption for the picture in the extended  post and submit it in the comment section. We at All Things Michele will once again select the best ones (every single one) and award each one (every single one) with an imaginary trophy for their imaginary caption-contest-winner cabinet.

The Answer and Ask Comment Game

It is time to socialise and make small talk.......

How shall we do this?

Let me explain:

The person before you has asked you a question. Now being a pleasant guest you shall answer. See, small talk! Now, you will want to welcome the next guest by asking a question of them.

It really is as simple as answer and ask. Please remember you are a pleasant guest and this is only small talk, albeit of the amusing kind. Some possible questions mght be:

  • What book are you reading?
  • Where did you get that lovely ensemble?
  • Do you think Brad Pitt is over-rated?
  • Who was your favourite Bond, James Bond?

Please, keep it non-personal and ask fun questions. And  yes you can come back to mix and mingle, in fact I encourage it.

Question for first person:

If you wrote a book, to whom would you dedicate it?

The Word Association Comment Game

Simply post the first word that comes to mind when you read the word in the comment above yours.  The next person will write the word that first comes to mind when they read your word. Sound easy? Oh, of course it does.

Allow me to start:

Bubbly Wishes

Bubblywishes Happy New Year Everyone. With all my heart. I hope that you and those  you love will enjoy a year full of health, happiness and moments of bliss.

I will return on January  7.  Until then, I have a speech to write, a political story to spin, a press release to ignore, decadent chocolate to tempt me, the third volume  of John Richardson's A Life of Picasso to read (many critics hail it as part of the most remarkable biography of an artist ever written), an afternoon nap to schedule and magical moments to seek out.

Bubbly Wishes and Hugs....xo

Welcome.....
