Currently on my nightstand: Northanger Abbey by Jane Austen, and Scar Tissue (a book of poems) by Charles Wright.
Your turn: What book is currently on your nightstand?
Three random things I did this past weekend:
Your turn. Name three random things you did this past weekend.
Please read the instructions carefully! You are about to take another weekly All About You Test.
A Christmas Edition!
The Instructions:
Take your time for the test and try to answer as many questions as possible. You are going to be asked 5 questions. Please look at a clock and time how long it takes you. You should not need loner than 30 minutes. If you need longer, please consider learning more about yourself.
After you completed the 5 questions, you have finished the test and you may leave the comment section testing area. But please remember: these on-line "all about you" tests can never be as accurate as tests supervised by trained professionals.
We from All-things-Michele hope you have fun with the test.
Good Luck and best wishes!
Bonus Question worth triple candy cane flavoured points: Do you like Michele's new weekly format? Be honest. She wants to know!
This question was asked in the Answer and Ask Comment Game.
Lisa wants to know...
What three things do you still have to do before you are really ready for Christmas?
Yes. Another caption contest. You know the rules, yes? You think of a caption for the picture in the extended post and submit it in the comment section. We at All Things Michele will once again select the best ones (every single one) and award each one (every single one) with an imaginary trophy for their imaginary caption-contest-winner cabinet.
It is time to socialise and make small talk.......
How shall we do this?
Let me explain:
The person before you has asked you a question. Now being a pleasant guest you shall answer. See, small talk! Now, you will want to welcome the next guest by asking a question of them.
It really is as simple as answer and ask. Please remember you are a pleasant guest and this is only small talk, albeit of the amusing kind. Some possible questions mght be:
Please, keep it non-personal and ask fun questions. And yes you can come back to mix and mingle, in fact I encourage it.
Question for first person:
Do you purchase a Christmas gift for your pet?
Simply post the first word that comes to mind when you read the word in the comment above yours. The next person will write the word that first comes to mind when they read your word. Sound easy? Oh, of course it does.
Allow me to start:
mistletoe
Thank you to the wonderful people who play multiple times, each of you are guilty of spreading lots of comment cheer - hugs from me.
Spread the Comment Cheer.
The site of the day: the person above you and then you.
How to play:
Please play along.
Note to the first person commenting: simply say hello to me.
And YES, of course you are invited to play often. As you already know, I encourage that sort of thing. However, please allow at least five people to play (or at least thirty minutes to pass) before you comment again.
What a pleasant surprise to find you here - visiting my blog. Where have you been? Were you too busy to read my many oh-so-wonderful posts that appeared in the last few days? Oh wait, what is that you claim, that there were no wonderful posts to read? Hmm, maybe you are correct, or maybe I am talking about the wonderfulness that will appear on Monday? Yes, that must be it.
About comments being treated as spam: I'm sorry. I don't know how to fix it, however, I will send a second call for help to Typepad. In the meantime, if this happens to you while playing the Meet n' Greet, simply post your URL in the body of the message and only post your blog-name and e-mail (which is never published) in the required fields.
About the new private tell-all-blog and password: No one has been sent an invitation, yet. There is no such blog, yet. There might be in the new year. Of course, you (and yes, I am talking about you) will be one of the first to know.
About those two rumours that have been circulating about me: Well, one of them is true and the other one isn't. Which one is true? Well, the good one of course!
About the new rules for the bad Meet n' Greet behaviour: I've decided to wait and see if it continues before doing anything. Yes, I am watching you. No, not you, the other person.
About the fact that I like the word about: Thanks for noticing. It's about time that someone did! I feel special and all twinkly when you notice these things.
That's about it. Have a great weekend. Hugs....
