The Weekly Three Things

A fashion challenge:

You have been asked to re-create a typical outfit that you wore in high school. What three fashion items would you need?

Comments

A pair of Levis jeans. a pair of J.C's (sandals) and a boob tube.

Or Box pleated uniform with tie and stockings...

a straight skirt, white lace trimmed blouse and saddle oxfords (with sox to match the color of the skirt, sorry that's 4).

Super-Bell Levis. An AC/DC T-shirt and "stoner" boots.

1. A black denim London Fog coat, full length.
2. Black suede pirate boots.
3. Matching scarf, gloves and socks... in red, teal or electric blue.

oooh, I want to see a pic of Shephard dressed up like that LOL!

um...in my case:

hiphugger jeans with wide legs
earth shoes
crocheted sweater

A Jantzen sweater set, a straight wool skirt with a kick pleat, saddle-oxfords or flats and a pearl necklace.

boyish jeans, a button down shirt and barrettes

Tight jeans, peasant shirt with embroidery and clogs.

Tight jeans, peasant shirt with embroidery and clogs.

sneakers that covered my ankle bones
rolled up snug fitting shorts
silver braided belt long enough to tie instead of buckle

1 - blue jeans
2 - a simple cotton shirt
3 - a clip or covered band to hold my then-long hair out of my eyes
(I always wanted Frye boots, but never got them!)

Turquoise wool miniskirt and matching short-sleeved sweater. Ballet flats. Stockings and garter belt. Little tiny bra. (Sigh)

I can't count, either.

1. Levi's that were so tight that they required lying on the bed to get on, and do up. Putting clean jeans back in the dryer to make them even more snug was a common getting ready for school practice. What? Don't judge me, I am not the only girl who did this.

2. Ballet flats, because, really, was I expected to be able to bend over and tie anything up with jeans that tight?

3. Bulky wool sweaters with sleeves that were much longer than my arms.

4. During spares and lunch I would wear my boyfriend's letterman jacket. What? Don't judge me, I was cold, he was cute. It made perfect sense at the time.

a white blouse, a plaid skirt, a sweater and white shoes (I went to Catholic school and we wore uniforms)

A maroon colored shirt, jeans and Doc Martens.

1. Knee-high Doc Martens
2. Ripped off leggins
3. A partly ripped off t-shirt

Bonus : a box of black eyeliner

jeans (most likely Levis)
sneakers (most likely Nike)
grey hooded zip up sweatshirt (remember back before they were called "hoodies")

Levis Jeans
Rock Shirt (preferably a Rush shirt) topped with a flannel plaid shirt if it's cold out. (this would be 1985 & I was ahead of my time)
Converse Hightops

A really long belt that wraps around me at least twice, skinny jeans with zippers around the ankles and a pair of white Keds lace-ups.

nike's, a tee shirt and a pair of ditto's jeans.

Blue jeans, white shirt, v-necked sweater

rubber warm up pants (the kind you wear over a leotard and tights)

leg warmers

layered t-shirts

What? I went to a performing arts school in the '80s.

1. Bell bottom hip hugger jeans
2. mood ring
3. boy's sneakers

light blue blouse
blue plaid shirt
ribbon for blonde ponytail

Velour shirt, levi's straight leg corduroys, & high heel clogs.

black Gloria Vanderbilt jeans, cream colored cashmere v neck sweater with my initials on it and an oxford.

Gotta love the 80's

are you ready to cringe?

men's long underwear (worn underneath the next item)
men's boxer shorts
a several sizes too large sweatshirt with our high school logo

oh, my poor mother.

Haha Fathead, I had that exact same outfit.

Sometimes I wore corduroy knickers (not the UNDERWEAR knickers, I mean the knee length pants), a ruffled high neck blouse that had a flap-style button front...and a *shudder* side-half-ponytail.
