Caption Contest Number 120

Yes. Another caption contest. You know the rules, yes? You think of a caption for the picture in the extended  post and submit it in the comment section. We at All Things Michele will once again select the best ones (every single one) and award each one (every single one) with an imaginary trophy for their imaginary caption-contest-winner cabinet.

Mamacita wants to know....

How old is your oldest article of clothing?

Michele would also like to know...

what piece of clothing is it and do you still wear it?

The I Spy Comment Game

According to some people I make up silly games. Keep this in mind as I suggest the following:

The person above you has the magic ability to look through your computer monitor and see you and your surroundings. Don't be frightened, they are just here for the game and they will leave in a moment. Just before they disappear they play the I Spy Game. Yes, you know which game I am talking about, the anti-boredom road-trip game that requires you to guess what the other person has spied based on a one word clue.

So, tell us what your thru-the-monitor visitor might have spied based on their clue. Also, do not forget that after you have answered the person above you it is your turn to look throuh the monitor of the next person and tell them what you spied. Sound fun?  Of course it does. If it does not sound fun then I spy a party-pooper.

Now, let me begin  by looking through the monitor of the first person:

I spy with my little eye something that is lustrous.

Yes, As A Matter of Fact, I Am In a Bad Mood.

Open Letter to Stalker Girl:

I have erased one too many of your anonymous, or random-named comments. I now know it is you behind much of the disruptive comments on the Weekend Meet n' Greet. I also know that it is you behind the gossip-type comments that were left on a particular post this weekend. You are not a mere silent stalker, which I could simply ignore. In fact, I have more than a few of them that I do ignore.

What the hell is your problem? You have spent six weeks now making my weekends hell. I have even considered putting a stop to my weekend game because of the hassle of dealing with you. This is even before I knew it was you. No, you are not behind all of the odd happenings, there are a few others, but you are behind much of it. Even one incident is one too many. For many weeks now I have wondered why I was suddenly being targeted by so many different people. Was it because I am now revealing more? Is it because I started to become more involved? No. None of that. Unless, of course, that simply reignited your obsessive interest in me. It is not a series of disruptive visitors. It is just a few. Mostly you. And now, I have proof of it. Solid and undisputed proof. Yes, it is good to have contacts. The forever-changing IP's no longer fool me. Your use of my friend's name  for several comments, annoys me.  The fact that you presented  yourself as another  blogger, angers me.

You and I both know, that you have not yet done anything illegal, but you should know that you are on the border, and you are dangerously close to crossing it. You and I also know that if I reveal your name, which I am very tempted to do, it could, yes, it really could, impact your professional life. Yet, one more incident, just one, and I will go public with EVERYTHING. Three years worth of everything. Yes, unfortunately, I would have to shut down my blog if I lose my privacy. However, my blog is not connected to my career. Yours is. You have much more to lose than I do. Don't push me.

Yes, congratulations, you figured out who "HE" is. Good for you. Please do what you want with that information.

Let me confirm one more thing for you: IF I find out that you are the one trying to do a search for me at TRCC, (and I suspect you are), I will immediately get the police involved. That is not a threat, it is a simple fact. The fact that you live in the same city as me, will make this an easier task.

A friend of mine has told me, more than once, that there is a time to be nice and a time not to be nice. I am a fool to have waited this long to shift gears into not nice. Ah, but I am there now. Really, you do not want to experience the not nice me. No, I will not be getting anyone else to help me. Not again. I am in the driver's seat of this blog, and I am willing, very willing, to journey down a road with you that is guaranteed to have an unpleasant destination. I suggest you seriously consider choosing not to become a passenger for this ride.

Open Letter to Everyone Else:

Please continue to have a nice day.

Other Than ask for things I don't think I can get.

Finish this line:

You should know me well enough by now to know I don't.....

The Monday Three Things

Three random things I did this past weekend:

  • Went out for dinner with my mother on Friday evening, and discovered that I am two years away from becoming a spinster. Don't believe me? Go ask my mother.
  • Went with friends to see Kooza, the latest production from Cirque du Soleil. It was simply amazing.
  • Spent Sunday afternoon enjoying lunch, a game of billiards, and a long ride on a brand new Harley Davidson, with a man I teasingly refer to as Kimberly. No, he is not the man who makes me swoon. More about each of these men in upcoming, but separate posts.

Your turn. Name three random things  you did  this past weekend.

Once Again, Being Silly

Stretch your left arm out as far as you can. What do you touch first?

The Double XX Advantage

If you had to name one advantage that women have over men, what would you say it is?

The Daily Question From A Blogfriend

This question was not asked in the  Answer and Ask  Comment Game.

Michele wants to know....

What common telephone practices, either mobile or land line, do you find annoying?

Another Question from a Blogfriend

This question was e-mailed to me.

Connie wants to know...

If you were an entry in the dictionary, under which word would people find you?

The Answer and Ask Comment Game

It is time to socialise and make small talk.......

How shall we do this?

Let me explain:

The person before you has asked you a question. Now being a pleasant guest you shall answer. See, small talk! Now, you will want to welcome the next guest by asking a question of them.

It really is as simple as answer and ask. Please remember you are a pleasant guest and this is only small talk, albeit of the amusing kind. Some possible questions mght be:

  • What book are you reading?
  • Where did you get that lovely ensemble?
  • Do you think Brad Pitt is over-rated?
  • Who was your favourite Bond, James Bond?

Please, keep it non-personal and ask fun questions. And  yes you can come back to mix and mingle, in fact I encourage it.

Question for first person:

Do you ever park in the handicapped spot?

The Word Association Comment Game

Simply post the first word that comes to mind when you read the word in the comment above yours.  The next person will write the word that first comes to mind when they read your word. Sound easy? Oh, of course it does.

Allow me to start:

  • Now, go visit the person who commented above you, leave a comment on their site that includes  the oft-repeated tag-line: Hello, Michele sent me.

Bet On! Part Two

There was a great flurry of betting, here on this blog, between my friend Connie and I two days ago. Friendly betting between us is not uncommon. In fact, we have a long history of betting on things both trivial and not.  We also have a  long history of meeting for dinner at least once a week.  The two are often combined, and the  loser pays  the restaurant bill for whatever random bet was made that week. This friendly betting results in much laughter for the two of us, and many free meals for me. Yes, I am bragging. She will read this.  Part of the fun in betting is that the winner is permitted to brag. Until the next bet is made.

This post is the platform used for the next bet. So, dear Connie, here we go again....
