Shephard wants to know...
If you could swap places with your mom or spouse* for a day, what would you do?
*I am quite certain that the word spouse can be replaced with "that special someone in your life," in fact, that is what I did, when I answered it.

I would quit.....I don't want to be a plumber. Mind you he does not do domestic plumbing he's into the mechanical/industrial side but he does have to handle the poooier things in life.

I'd organize my mom's computer, and hook up her DVD player, and hide about 200 of her knick-knacks. Just for fun.

Swapping with mom would be painful, I think. I'll go with spouse. Then I could see what it's like to live with me! :/

My husband teachers calculus. No, thank you.
If I could catch Mom on one of her dinner theatre days, that would be cool. Otherwise, no.

As Jennie as already said, swapping places with my mother would be painful. Oh wait, she said that about her mother. Perhaps, her and I could simply swap mothers for a day? No, wait, I actually like Jennie.
Swapping with "him" for a day? No, I don't think so, because, really, how could I spend the day thinking of him, when I was being him? Oh wait, if I was him, I would be thinking of me, correct? Which means I could send me a letter, right now, simply saying I was thinking of me. Yes, I would like that.
Now, I just have to convince him to swap, and make him promise me that he will not stretch my new pair of stilettos.

I'm not sure I want to do either. I get BORED listening to my hubby ramble on about HIS job; my mom's job is thankless, and while it pays her bills, I don't think I could do it: she cleans up at BK during lunch rush. She's told me horror stories....
(on a side note: I ALWAYS clean up after myself and family at restaurants now, including picking up all the crap on the floor that the kids have tossed. Because now I KNOW what it's like for that person who does the clean up)

I'd decline, thanks. But I can think of a couple of people I'd switch places with, but only for their boyfriends!

Hmm, my Mum passed away and my SO works in the same office but does very dull (to me) stuff so I guess I'll stay as I am thanks.

Well, my Mom passed away, so not her. My husband works outside all day, we live in Florida (very hot), but he works for the county so...I guess I would swap with him and then take the day off! Which means, I get to do his favorite things, watch TV & go to the bar... Woo hoo!!!
