The Prayer: Anthony Callea (AC)
AC was second in Australian Idol and has a truely inspirational voice. When he sang it, both English and in Italian (it is meant to be a duet) was AWESOME!

I'm with Kenju --- I have loved that song since hearing it (on a first date, no less) in the movie Reds: but since that first date didn't end up in a lifetime together, I can't use that. So I'll go with either "The Folks Who Live On The Hill" by Jerome Kern, or "Our House" by Crosby, Stills, Nash and Young. And since I know which one LOML prefers, I'll go with CSNY.

"Here Without You", by 3 Doors Down. Simply because of this part of the song....
But all the miles that separate
Disappear now when I'm dreaming of your face
I'm here without you baby
But you're still on my lonely mind
I think about you baby
And I dream about you all the time

STOP THE MUSIC! Yes, right now. Michele, this type of blog hostess behavior is not going to be tolerated. You get to post lots and lots of varied games, brief segments of near reality and other missives from the michleagnew.com universe. You also get to comment, as fair is fair. Everyone who reads your blog, and caspar knows you read it often, gets to comment. But this new post/comment hybrid? What the heck is that? Song lyrics? NOOOOOO. You asked for a song, not lyrics. Oh you say that you can so do it, it is your blog. Well, not so fast sister. It is ....and you better sit down.....it is rude! It is like having a party at your home and everyone is having a nice time enjoying blood pudding on melba toast snacks. And you plop down in any easy chair and enjoy ice cream without sharing. Sure, it is your house.......
Now there is another issue....the lyrics are used to enhance the classic Michele Agnew "this one's for you" come on. Ok boys, who thinks it is meant for them? Hands down, all of them. Yes...you too. If you think it was meant for you...guess what..it wasn't. Promise. caspar never lies, mostly.

How about Bewitched, Bothered and Bewildered?
Posted by:kenju | July 31, 2007 at 04:43 PM
Caspar,
You seem to be a little bored today, no? Perhaps you need a diversion? Why don't we play a little non-comment game, created just for you. A version of 'Hide n' Seek', perhaps? Okay, now you go hide and I will seek you out, sometime before summer ends.
Oh, but before you hide, please know that your conclusion is false. Michele Agnew does NOT have a "this one's for you" come on. She has a "this one is for HIM" come on, and the him is a very specific person.
Now, I must go enjoy some ice cream, without sharing of course...

Contigo en la Distancia...by Christina Aguilera
Michele, I don't speak or understand one word of Spanish but this song is beautiful regardless. And no one has a voice like Christina's. Listen to it on your iPod once and you will want to listen to the whole CD.
caspar, come and visit. I don't put a big "r" on my name either....you might be my long lost son. You might learn something.

Dear Caspar,
You may hide out on my blog--but I'm not as nice as Michele, so maybe that's not the best solution. :)
And my song? "Kiss This", by Aaron Tippin.
