Impromptu Costume Party

You have just been invited to a Favourite Literary Character from Your Childhood Costume Party. What? You think such a theme would be  silly? Please don't tell me that - I already purchased my blue schoolgirl uniform and bright yellow hat to transform myself into Madeline. Now, please tell me who you will be dressed as. Oh, and  what special item did  you have to purchase  to complete your outfit?

Wanting Your Opinion

Borrowing a question from The Globe and Mail:

Do you believe Halloween night is any more dangerous for children than it was in the past?

The Halloween Costume Version

In a traditional choose-day ame you are offered a short list of paired items and you must choose the one item that appeals to you most. Simple? Yes!  Now, let us  shift the traditional way-to-play to make it a bit more interactive.

Rules of Play:

The person before you has offered you two costumes to choose between, so go ahead and choose one.  Now you list two costumes, yes, any two, for the next person to choose.

Sound fun?  Of course it does.

Let me begin:

Dr. Frank-N-Furter or The Oscar Mayer Wienermobile?

Other Than Trick-or-Treats.

Finish the final line:

Linus: You've heard of the fury of a woman scorned, haven't you?
Charlie Brown: Yeah, I guess I have.
Linus: Well, that's nothing compared to the fury of a woman who has been cheated out of......

Children 'need sex education from age of 10':

All primary school children should be taught about contraception, according to a report out today. The Institute of Public Policy Research made the recommendation because British teenagers are the most sexually active in Europe and have the highest teenage pregnancy rate.

Its report said that children should learn about contraception in their final year of primary school, at the age of 10 or 11, and that condoms should be free or sold cheaply to teenagers in schools and colleges.

Schools currently teach sex education between the ages of 11 and 14. However, 38 per cent of British 15-year-olds claim to be sexually active and almost one in three of those did not use a condom last time they had sex. Julia Margo, of IPPR, said: "Our education system must start teaching children about the risks involved in sex before they even consider taking those risks."

Do you agree that children should learn about contraception in their final year of primary school? Should  condoms be given  free or sold cheaply to  teenagers in schools and  colleges?

Blog Update

Question: Did  you not  ask for volunteers for a new 3 for 1 question and answer  feature?
Answer: Yes, I did. In fact, I have sent out five or six sets of question and have received back a few of them. More  questions will be sent this week and as the ones that I have received will appear begin to begin to appear sometime  this week.

Sorry for the delay. My non-blogging interfered with my schedule. And yes, I let it.
