We worked at the same office and were on the same team. :) Because we worked together, we ended up talking to each other a lot until he asked me out, and after a year, we got married!

It was on a double date, She was with my best friend and I was with my fiancée.

BTW, he ended up our Best Man at the wedding.

Blind Date. It was supposed to be a girls night out, but I was set up.

Went to college in Oklahoma from Delaware.
Ham radio operator in Delaware talked to someone at my college. He said my folks could talk to me through him. So we did. Once. It took a long time (two years) for him to ask me out. We got married. Stayed married for 13 years. He finally hit either delayed adolescence or early mid-life crisis and discovered "young things". We divorced, almost 18 years ago. End of story.

A friend of mine was sharing a house with her, and suggested I moved in the next year. We hung out a bit until I moved out at the end of the year. The next year we were inseparable until she moved into my house a year later and we're still together.

On a blind date 43 years ago. We were set up by a mutual friend - who, oddly enough - it still our friend!!

He was my friend's roommate in college.

Worked together. Hmm wonder why we're not together anymore? :P

At work...and now scared by jen's comment.

He lived upstairs from me; one day I asked him to drop me off at a car dealership as I needed some work done to my car and didn't want to hang out there all day. We ended up sitting in the parking lot of the dealership talking for 4 hours til my car was ready.

At a bar. Classy, eh?

We met at church...and were married at that same church almost 8 years ago!

I met him in the shelterhouse of Cascades golf course in Bloomington, IN - he was playing in a "Turfbeaters" tournament, I was watching. Later that night, we remet at Bear's Place...but we really MET-met at my place afterwards, where everyone convened after the bar closed. THAT was when I fell in love; he fell for me back at the golf course 12 hours before. :)

My future hubby hired me to be his secretary.

Redneck Bowling!

I'm surpised I haven't blogged about it yet. Look for details on my site later today or this week. It's a good story about lies and deceit and fictitious names and crappy bowling.

I went on a pilgrimage through the North of Spain at the same time he did.

We met at work. I worked for a division of the company he worked for. When my boss quit my 2nd week on the job and no replacement was to be hired, I leaned on my now husband quite a bit to explain the ins and outs of printing jargon. I mean really, what does a 22-year-old-meant-to-be-a- marketing-assistant-but-now-running-the-joint know about blue lines and color codes? All I knew was that the guy in purchasing had beautiful blue eyes. Lucky me he married me. I get to look at those eyes every day.

Last year of high school. He had a crush on my best friend.

Until he met me, that is.

We met on a blind date, via my friend, whose cousin I was engaged to 2 years prior.

Mutual friend.

I worked with his roommate and his roommate invited me and a few other people over one night for a get-together. He was home and we chatted all night.

We're getting married in less than five months. :)

I changed majors my sophomore year in college, and suddenly found myself walking into a classroom where I didn't recognize anyone. I saw him, he smiled, and I sat down...
We'll be married 23 years in November!

On an internet dating site, 18 months later we were married and living in Europe :)

My hubby and I met each other thru one of my best friends. We were actually at a County Fair of all places and (for me) it was love at first sight.
We'll be married 15 years in July and we'll be "together" 17 years in September. WOW! I just realized that I've known him for almost half my life!!

In high school...he was dating my best friend :) We've been together over 25 years now...

He was my best friend's (from junior high and high school) younger brother. I knew him when he was shorter than me and pre-teen.

We worked in the same Casino. I spotted him walking out after his shift, and didn't talk to him for a couple of weeks. That was 8 years ago and we have been involved ever since.

I walked past him everyday in college. He was standing in the business building talking with friends and I was simply trying to get through the building without becoming a Republican. Everyday I thought about how cute he was and near the end of the semester I finally talked to him.

Come to find out...he is a Republican. I guess I can't hold that against him too much though, because he is a great person. We have been together ever since.

blind date!

Sheer happentance as we were both customers at a tire store and were just doing that stranger to stranger talking. He asked me to coffee, I said I was a lot older than him, he said "it's not like we are getting engaged"..it's 1 1/2 years later.

High school art class. Read all about it tomorrow! Its breaking news

On an internet dating site.

my what?

In a bar - 10 years ago yesterday as a matter of fact...

mutual friends introduced us at a party and our first date together was at a Chinese Restaurant.

insignificant other now

once upon a time...i thought i met a prince. turns out he was just posing as one. i suspected so, when he constantly had excuses never to be with me. turns out he was still with his wife from whom he claimed to be free. really just a toad in a prince's disguise. humphf!!!

oops...where: does it really matter at this point?

Internet dating site. I was just browsing pictures and he didn't even have one! However, I loved what he had to say, so I sent him an email. We'll be married 7 years this year.
