I used to read. I should read more and blog less.

I was rotting my brain on crappy TV. :) Blogging has saved me from reality TV overload.
Posted by: sandy | April 17, 2006 at 09:36 PM
I had kids living here then. I read more. My house was no tidier, though.
You know, it's hard to remember!
Posted by: Mamacita | April 17, 2006 at 09:37 PM
I think my house used to be cleaner too, but on the upside blogging has cured me from shopping.
I guess it's okay to answer my own question. I'll check back because I really do want to hear what people say about this.
Posted by: colleen | April 17, 2006 at 09:57 PM
Watched too much TV.
Posted by: Catheroo | April 17, 2006 at 10:03 PM
TV or reading...I still read though.
Posted by: kontan | April 17, 2006 at 10:39 PM
Vegged out in front of the T.V. or shopped.
Posted by: plumkrazzee | April 17, 2006 at 11:15 PM
Watching TV definitely. Down to American Idol, Lost, and Invasion.
Posted by: Sandy J | April 17, 2006 at 11:42 PM
Watch TV, but now that I have a laptop with wireless capability...I can do both!
Posted by: Begered | April 18, 2006 at 12:53 AM
Playing on Usenet and doing scrapbooks.
Posted by: Paula | April 18, 2006 at 01:22 AM
Reading. I hardly ever read now. Sad.
Posted by: christine | April 18, 2006 at 01:36 AM
Forums, but before that I was in school (University) so that time was spent "studying"
Posted by: archshrk | April 18, 2006 at 02:05 AM
Ok, I was computer gaming.
Posted by: archshrk | April 18, 2006 at 02:05 AM
Work?
Posted by: Scribe | April 18, 2006 at 04:16 AM
There was life before blogging? I spent the time writing in a personal journal. This is much more fun!
Posted by: Leslie | April 18, 2006 at 07:03 AM
I'm not sure, but I think my house was cleaner.
Posted by: blackbird | April 18, 2006 at 07:30 AM
I just surfed the internet or played online games....
Posted by: Linda | April 18, 2006 at 07:38 AM
I worked. I didn't start blogging until my maternity leave started.
Posted by: daughter in law | April 18, 2006 at 07:53 AM
Probably reading or watching TV (when I had TV). I just noticed the person above me said they "worked," this is probably true for me too. I've been blogging more since I became a student.
Posted by: jessica | April 18, 2006 at 09:36 AM
Work! hee hee just kidding.
Posted by: Goldie | April 18, 2006 at 09:38 AM
You know, I really don't know. I know I got outside more often, which I need to start doing again. I also had a full time job. My blogging started right after I was put on disability. I know I didn't clean more, and I've never really been a TV person.
Posted by: Samantha | April 18, 2006 at 09:42 AM
work
Posted by: Janet | April 18, 2006 at 09:44 AM

Surfing into cyberspace wandering about...
or posting on AOL message boards about makeup!
Posted by: Cyndy | April 18, 2006 at 10:05 AM
Watched too much TV or shopped too much. Overall, I'd say blogging has been good for my mind and my wallet!
Posted by: callie | April 18, 2006 at 10:21 AM
I think I watched tv, or slept! I have missed many hours of sleep blogging or reading blog after blog!
Posted by: Winona | April 18, 2006 at 11:29 AM
i still do what I do when I blog. I just learned to include it into my multitasking.

I used to have a job. A real job, in a big school. I wore clothes that matched every day, and I had conversations out loud. With real people.

P.S. My answer to the question:
I used to spend all my time logging onto internet forums. And in the dim and distant days before I discovered the internet, I took drugs and watched telly. But not both at the same time.
Posted by: Clare | April 18, 2006 at 05:52 PM
Watched tv, or read more books.
Posted by: Julie | April 18, 2006 at 10:55 PM
I still read and work and watch TV about the same amount...but I spend much less time playing games on the computer. AND I used to maintain a pretty cool website that I've let fall by the wayside...
...but it's totally worth it. I love my blog friends.
