Fall on Your Knees by Anne-Marie MacDonald. I've read it several times. It's very good, but very dark. and then for a little light reading, there is Andrew Greeley's Angel Fire. my favorite of all his books.

'The Kite Runner' by Khaled Hosseini. I'm really enjoying it so far. I'm also attempting to make my way through 'Metamorphoses', and I'm reading 'The Old Patagonian Express' in my lunchhour. All nicely varied to give me options.

I think that the novel I'm still reading from the last time you asked this--I start and consider so many it's hard to keep track--was "Shroud" from a Mr. John Banville. His books are relatively short but I find that I must take my time.
I'm also on "Wuthering Heights" by Emily Bronte, of which I'm ambivalent about and "Hard-boiled Wonderland and the End of the World" by Haruki Murakami.

This morning I started The Killing of the Tinkers by Ken Bruen. It's an Irish crime fiction novel, with a unique writing style and powerful story.
