We Must Celebrate
If you are one of my American blogfriends I would like to wish you a Happy Independence Day. Happy Monday.
If you are one of my blogfriends but not American, well,
How will I be celebrating this July 4th? Well, I have a ten o'clock conference call / doodle session planned.
How will you be celebrating July 4th?

I'll be taking it easy and doing a bit (OK, a lot) of housework - all worn out from celebrating Canada Day on Friday!

Thank you, Michele, I wish everyone a Happy Fourth of July too. We will have a small party; a hot dog roast on our deck later today.

Trying to catch up on the sleep I lost because stupid people kept shooting fireworks at/over my house.

Building a deck! :p

Will be celebrating by dealing with a lot of paperwork and then having a meeting much later today.
Bah humbug!

Last year I was lucky enough to be home with my family in Oregon for the 4th of July. I couldn't make it home this year so I'm working! :(

Annual parade in village center (in New England we have villages), cook-out at in-laws.

Thanks, Michele; I hope your work day goes pleasantly, or at least productively.
As for me, I'll be doing laundry then driving to Santa Barbara to watch fireworks on the beach.

Swimming. Picnicing with my entire family. Firewors, if my kids don't get too tired first. Putting the final touches on a presentation I have to give tomorrow.

I'm working a little this morning, then we're going to a cook-out at our friends' house and maybe wander down to the river to hear some music and check out the fireworks.
Happy Independence Day!

Miss Hag & I just finished up with a long night's work, feeding all of lower Manhattan, and we're whupped. When I got out of the cab, we left it at "I'll call you, or you call me, and if it's still daylight, let's slug some wine in Central Park, eh?" So perhaps there will be a new post tomorrow on http://www.thevinoveritas.blogspot.com If it's dark when we wake up, we might just do sparklers on the roof. Have a lovely day, Michele!

I'll be hanging out w/ my dog for most of the day, then going out with some friends later. I have no idea what we're doing, but I would guess it'd involve fireworks of some kind...

Family and friends coming over later, for a BBQ and to watch the parade, as it passes by the bottom of our street.

A little laundry, probably a half a day of 'work - work', practice my music for next weeks big show (alexandriasingers.com), watch the DC National tribute on TV and swing with my beloved Beach Boys tonight! We spent yesterday picnicing with family - great day!

Hi Michele! Thinking of you on this lovely holiday. Sorry you can't join us. My stepdaughter is visiting from CA and we are going to go out to Coney Island to see all the freaky folk! And then back to the city for the fireworks! YEE HAW! xox

Even though I am an American, I'm living in a different country now and the 4th of July? Yep. It's just another day. I worked, I had toast, and I will have curry for dinner.
Especially since that country is England-the country we signed the Declaration because of! (That said, I had a major BBQ blow out on Saturday with neighbors and friends, complete with beer and fireworks.)
You can take the girl out of America, but....

We're having a family BBQ (Minus my husband and dad, who are out climbing mountains), and will take the kids to see the city fireworks tonight.

Took the kids to Canada Day Celebrations on Friday, wishing a Happy 4th July to you today!

I'll be standing on the rooftop of the Boston Museum of Science, along with 3500 other people, enjoying a picnic first, then trying to block out the country music they have scheduled, then enjoying the spectacular fireworks!

I've celebrated by eating double choc chip American style muffins, working (boring!), and will watch Big Brother tonight followed by Independence Day!

Of course, when you have an entertainment business, you will be working on the 4th of July. Ahhhh...and then one never plans for RAIN! You'd think we'd learn by now! =o)
