Well, I know what we have here.

1. What we call Breakfast Potatoes--potatoes that are cut in squares and then cooked in a skillet with onions and spices.
2. Bacon
3. Friends. Or someone VERY yummy and delicious, of course...
And, OP? I've HAD that sort of breakfast before (substituting Diet Coke for the Beer). It's OK. But I've had better.... ;)

Come on ... a "perfect" weekend brunch has way more than three items.
It should start with a hostess who shows you to your seat. Followed by a chef in a white coat and hat who keeps the buffet table full. And a waiter who clears your empty plates and refills your glasses.
The buffet itself should consist, at a minimum, of:
Mimosa
Eggs
Bacon
Croissants and real butter
French toast
Belgian waffles
Sausage
Hash browns
Fresh fruit
Coffee
and ice water (to prevent a hangover)
And don't forget the grand finale: a nap.

But there's the Jewish Princess in my other menu:
Everything bagel with vegetable cream cheese

2. bacon
3. bread and mustard
Because, a good bacon and mustard sandwich is great no matter WHAT time of day it is.
And the fruit makes it classy.
