Scavenger Hunt: Round Two
The Hello Michele Sent Me Scavener Hunt.
First, let me thank each of you that played Round One of the scavener hunt. Many people suested that my clues were more challenin then they expected and dozens of people simply ave up or returned partial lists. Please know that I do understand that time restraints made it impossible for many people to finish and one blo-friend demanded that I "make it easier, damn it." So, did I listen? Yes and no. In the interest of those players who enjoyed round one this current round has a similar or perhaps slihtly easier level of difficulty. However, in the interest of my "make it easier" friends there will be two rounds posted on Saturday mornin. One will be the reularly scheduled round three and the other will be a quick-clue round which will allow more interested players to be eliible for The Hello Michele Sent Me Scavener Hunt
Did someone say prizes?
To donate my time in creatin a scavener hunt ame, to spend hours creatin posts, links, and visitin each blo to create clues. Not enouh? Okay, I am also willin to offer a list of all players who have played includin how many times they have played.Want more? Well, if you are one of the 141 blos that have already sined up then perhaps you miht et a few more visitors than usual and perhaps you will also discover a few new blos. Yes, it is a meet-and-reet ame. Discoverin new blos and havin others discover yours is the prize.
Special thanks to the wonderfully creative Amy from PsychoBabble, who just happens to be one of Round Two's selected blos, she made me the Scavener Hunt button above.
Sharin a secret:
Please note that havin a blo or not havin submitted your blo is not a requirement for playin.
Rules of Play:
Simply match up the twenty blos found in the extended post with the clues provided. Once you have completed this round of the Scavener Hunt please send me your completed list via email.
This round will close at 10.00 AM (EST) on Saturday January 29. At that time a new round will be posted. The purpose of the two days is to allow all interested players the opportunity to play at their leisure. Althouh I will be offerin a list of all players who successfully matched the blos and clues it will not be juded on a first completed basis as this would be unfair to players in different time zones and with different schedules.
The comment section will be left open to ask questions or to request
clarification. However, please do not post your answers in the comment
box. I would also appreciate if you leave a comment in this post
informin me that you are playin or have played so that at the end
of all rounds I can offer a tournament round for any players who have
participated several times.
The purpose of this ame is to enjoy a friendly and somewhat challenin meet-and-reet. Therefore please consider sayin hello to the blos that you are visitin and spread some comment cheer. Don't know what to say? Oh, I have an idea, perhaps you could say "Hello, Michele sent me."
A Round One update with a list players, list of answers and an explanation of the clues will be posted sometime today.
So, are you ready to play?

Looking forward to Saturday's "quickie"--I may have time for that one!
Will you be posting the answers to round one????
Posted by: Bluegrass Mama | January 27, 2005 at 10:38 AM
Oh my goodness...I can tell already that I am SOOO not gonna "win". Oh well, it's how you play the game that's important, right? Why, of course, it is.
AND...I LOVE THE NEW BUTTON! It's fabulous. Definitely one of the most perfect, classy buttons I've seen. Amy! You have a fabulous eye for design....

I'm playing -- couldn't finish the first one, but will give 100% on round two!

How many people work in the main office of micheleagnew.com? It might have seemed that Scavenger Hunt 1 was A LOT of work in itself. I just hope that your friends out there in blogland appreciate the effort that all of you give to this endeavor.

Oh, hooray! I must go get ready for company! And I recognized my clue immediately, but I will say that you are a sneaky one.
Posted by: Kimberly | January 27, 2005 at 11:24 AM
Ooooh, I liked my clue, just obscure enough. And I'm glad you like the button! I'm off hunting *puts on orange vest*
Posted by: Amy | January 27, 2005 at 11:29 AM
Phew! For a moment I was afraid I wouldn't even be able to tell which one is ME! Well, that's one down...
Posted by: srah | January 27, 2005 at 11:49 AM
I'm about ready to collapse from work, but I'm in and I'm ready to play. I've decided though to do this at home so I don't fired!
If I haven't thank you, Michele, thank you for putting so much time and effort into this. I've been thoroughly enjoying myself! And meeting lots of new blogs and getting lots of comments and just having fun!!!!
Posted by: Scully | January 27, 2005 at 11:51 AM
Oh dear. I ran out of time to play the first round. I come to check out the clues for round two and see I'm on the list. I've re-read the list 3 times and still don't know which one was me. I obviously suck at this game. ::sigh::

Michele's Scavanger Hunt or... get taxes worked on? Darnit.. BOTH! Boy was I wrong! I'll try this one too but make no guarrantees till I get my real work done. I do hate when work interferes with my blogging time!
Posted by: Sol | January 27, 2005 at 12:38 PM
Okay...missed round one, but playing round two. First, I gotta figure out which clue listed leads to my site...since none of them mentions anything about being a numb-skull or a dork!

**light bulb flickers**
Uses fingers to count, oh...I get it...good clue, Michele!
Am I right?!?
Oops...if so, pretend this comment never happened.
Posted by: Lizzy | January 27, 2005 at 01:23 PM
Ah shit...it's not me...gotta go hunting on my own friggin' site! Duh!
Posted by: Lizzy | January 27, 2005 at 01:27 PM
Holy Moly these are tough. I barely recognized myself!
Posted by: Sheryl | January 27, 2005 at 01:52 PM
I knew me! :) Thanks Michele!
Posted by: Brandie | January 27, 2005 at 02:01 PM
How embarrassing, I don't recognize my own clue!! Michele you are a sneaky girl -- like that :)
Posted by: iliana | January 27, 2005 at 02:02 PM
I intended to play; I wanted to play; I wanted to play VERY MUCH. But my computer is so zonky-weird right now, I can't stay online long enough to do much more than post and run before it goes black on me. But I'm keeping track and having fun watching others have fun. Sob. . . . .
I think this scavenger hunt is an absolutely awesome idea.
Posted by: Mamacita | January 27, 2005 at 02:22 PM
I didn't have time to play Round One, so I MUST make time for Round Two. Who really needs to go to work (and actually work) anyway? Let the games begin . . .
Posted by: pismire | January 27, 2005 at 02:25 PM
Heeeeellllllpppppp!!!!
Posted by: cori | January 27, 2005 at 02:36 PM
As I said, I totally suck at this. Can't even recognize the clue for my own site. BUT, I am having a ball reading the other blogs and commenting at least twice on everyone's site. Of course this means I've been totally unproductive outside the blogging world today. I'm off to comment on yesterday's blogs.
Posted by: Grins | January 27, 2005 at 02:57 PM
I'm in for Round Two, and I'm proud to say that I did, in fact, recognize "my" clue in Round One!
I LOVE scavenger hunts so I'm thrilled that you're doing this and I'm looking forward to participating in the rest of them. :)
Posted by: Maura | January 27, 2005 at 05:48 PM
Wow! That was hard but once I started I had to finish! lol
Posted by: Chana | January 27, 2005 at 06:29 PM
This is why I don't do the cryptic crossword in the paper...
I'll keep on trying :)
Posted by: BHR | January 27, 2005 at 06:41 PM
ok, let's do it! I hope I do better this time!
Posted by: Kathy | January 27, 2005 at 09:23 PM
OOOH MORE DIVA FUN
Let the hunt begin.
Posted by: Milehighdivacyn | January 27, 2005 at 09:44 PM
I do want to play. I do. I do.
If I don't get to, feel free to give me blog detention. I think 50 clicks of business blogs should suffice.
Posted by: Janet | January 27, 2005 at 10:07 PM
Dayum, this is tough! Finished meeting a deadline (like tomorrow morning) and getting another glass of wine...ready to play.
Got, like one - so far.
Posted by: Lizzy | January 27, 2005 at 10:15 PM
Halfway there... must stop... at least for a couple of hours. ;-)
Posted by: Kimberly | January 27, 2005 at 10:47 PM

Eeez deeficult.
Posted by: Kevin | January 28, 2005 at 09:14 AM
LOL! It took me a bit, but then I recognized my own clue. At first when I read it, I said..oh, that could be me, totally. THEN I read your list of sites. Hehehe! This is great!
Posted by: Moogie | January 28, 2005 at 09:52 AM
these are even harder than round one, I think!
Posted by: kristen | January 28, 2005 at 02:41 PM
I'm Playing! It just takes me a while!
Posted by: Lucy Jane | January 28, 2005 at 04:37 PM
Read 'em all! Have no idea who matches with which clue, but I still read 'em!
Posted by: srah | January 28, 2005 at 08:42 PM
I wanted to play this game, BUT it is too hard. I don't even know which clue is referring to my own BLOG. How sad is that?
Posted by: rebeka | January 28, 2005 at 11:03 PM
wow..no idea if they all match, but at least I found something for all of them lol. Thanks for the fun.

Here I am on vacation -- some vacation when you have a flaky net connection! -- and not doing so well this round... but I blame it on having to use my slower gprs connect -- yeah that's it!
Posted by: Dave Diamond | January 29, 2005 at 07:17 AM
I sent mine not complete since I've been working and such and have to get out of here now but wanted to Thank you!
