Tennis - cuz I always tried to play it when I was a kid and never, ever succeeded in even serving one ball over the net.

"...You are looking live at Highbury in North London...and starting his first game for the Arsenal Gunners tonight is Uncle Horns who has ascended to the throne of the best striker in the world in only a year's time. After taking the States to their first World Cup Chamionship he'll make himself right at home within Manager Arsene Wenger's starting XI. A gifted playmaker with an amazing ability to put a bulge in the onion bag..."
*sigh*

Synchronised trampolining. Doesn't it look like a load of fun?
Failing that being masseuse to any of the men's gymnastics teams would do!

I AM TIGER WOODS.
Posted by: Tiger Woods | January 25, 2005 at 04:21 PM
Beach Volley Ball... I'd get to have a reason to wear a bikini. As far as the team... who cares as long as I play well and look better.
Posted by: Square1 | January 25, 2005 at 04:25 PM
The only thing I was ever good at. Swimming.

Does Ballroom Dancing count as a sport? I think the Waltz is gorgeous.

Badminton is the sport of choice.

I am actually, in real life, an Olympic champion in expensive handbag shopping. Now, I know that the Outer Mongolian judge tried to slap me down in Sydney, but that Lulu Guinness "He Loves Me" bag was clearly worth every "10" I got!!!

Can people built like sumo wrestlers be figure skaters?
A snowman doing figure 8's suddenly appeared in my mind's eye. I don't like it.
Never mind.

And if Significant Other reads my above answer: PLEASE NOTE: That is what's called a JOKE. Thank you.

Posted by: robyn | January 25, 2005 at 05:27 PM
I am Martina Hingis.....well when she was good.
Posted by: cori | January 25, 2005 at 05:28 PM
I totally want to be a professional tennis star. I'd have a perfect body and get to wear cute short skirts all the time. With comfy tennis shoes!
Posted by: donna | January 25, 2005 at 05:33 PM
I'd be a rugby player and I would either play for Ireland or the New Zealand All Blacks. That would make my father the happiest man in the world.
Posted by: Scully | January 25, 2005 at 06:00 PM
I think I'd have to be a tennis player, since I am currently addicted to watching the Australian Open (I live in Melobourne!)
Posted by: Melody | January 25, 2005 at 06:12 PM
My dream would be to play tight end for the Dallas Cowboys....
Posted by: Shannin | January 25, 2005 at 06:52 PM
I'd be Laila Ali.
Posted by: La Nina | January 25, 2005 at 07:53 PM
hmmm. Can I just wake up WITH a sports team, instead of playing on one? I'm not very sporty ya know? -wink-
Posted by: Suzanne | January 25, 2005 at 07:55 PM

(Wake up BHR, it's time for school!)

Cricket; playing for India.

I am Square1's doubles beach volleyball partner. We hug each other when we make good shots (which is frequently), so our photos show up all over the place. You would certainly recognize us if you saw us.
Posted by: Kimberly | January 25, 2005 at 09:10 PM
Mine would be extreme duck pin bowling.
You would have the option of throwing the ball towards the pins, or randomly into the crowd of drunken league bowlers!
Posted by: Misty | January 25, 2005 at 09:25 PM
Beach volleyball and I'll be in a bikini BUT I'm playing with the men. They'll be more fun to "accidently" bump into.
Posted by: Grins | January 25, 2005 at 10:09 PM
I'd be playing 3rd base on the Texas Rangers...
Posted by: FTS | January 25, 2005 at 10:24 PM
I would be a pro-snowboarder training for the olympics.
Posted by: jeff | January 25, 2005 at 11:01 PM
I'd be a tennis player winning wimbledon, because it would make my mum happy and proud. If I didn't need to do that for my mum, and I only had myself to think of, then I'd be a snowbaorder, for sure. I mean a better snowboarder than what I already am. Which shouldn't be too dificult.
Posted by: Sam | January 25, 2005 at 11:33 PM
PS - forget to say - I'd be playing tennis for team ENGLAND of course.
how I would be loved by everyone in the country if I were to win.

I'd know I wasn't awake at all, but having a nightmare. Team sports. Yuk.

Posted by: honestyrain | January 26, 2005 at 08:45 AM
Ice skating. What team? I don't know. This would be solo skating though since I'm not good with teams or partners!
