OK, probably showing my ignorance here. Not to mention that I am feeling my age (as of two days from now) this week. So could you help me? I don't "get" the whole tag board thing. Could someone explain why you'd use a tag board instead of comments? I've just never understood the concept...Please. Help. Me.

Yeah, I'm confused too. Is it because tagboards suggest real time? That you can actually chat with others who are on here at the same time?

The reason I put it on (just to try), is that I have received more than one email asking me to include one. A few people wish to say hello or to mention something that is off topic from a current post.
I am not certain if it wil work on this blog, but I am willing to try it out. If it is indeed used I will consider keeping it.
Yes, still flirting with the idea.

Tagboards work for certain sites because they enhance the sense of 'community.'
Readers talk to the blogger, other readers, etc.
Kind of cool, actually.

No harm in trying! :)

Tagboards/DoodleBoards are just fun. I don't know if you can give them a specific explanation. It's a great place to say hi! To invite Michele over for a cup of coffee...or just generally be silly or whatever. Great job Michele!

Tag boards are good, very personal, with human interaction and all, however I get confused as to whether they read from top to bottom, must be the down under thing, also do you comment or tag, was this supposed to be left on the tag? See I'm all confused now.

I kinda like it... had been toying with getting one myself. I say if it enhances the user experience and people use it for the sort of thing you want then you should def keep it. Only reason I hesitate is in case readers start getting nasty with each other. But, you could always remove it if it goes south.

Hmmm....well, it does sound interesting...but will it detract readers from making the more traditional comments?
